Superior Human Powers

           Superior human powers

There are large number of religions throughout the whole world. In most of them there is an almighty god with super powers.Everything in the world happen for the sake of his desire. He is an invisible god and the messenger of the god conveys his messages to the people as a religion.Only the messenger was a human. In buddhism there is a speciality. There leader the''Buddha'' is a human who improved his spiritual powers. He was not a messenger sent by anyone else.He did not carried a message from a god but he described the truth of the world.
The Buddha was not a mysterious man.He was just a normal man but he improved his spiritual human powers to its maximum level within his life time with an unwavering vigor without any teacher. He have to face for many troubles within his journey to obtain nirvana(enlightenment).According to the historical writings  he was amazingly beautiful and attractive man.Its not surprise, because still today we can find very beautiful people in India. Before achieving the nirvana the buddha(then prince siddhartha) had sin thoughts same as any human being but he was able to remove them and to achieve nirvana. The Buddha was the first one who emphasized the importance of the human life.Only a human can be  a ''Buddha''.Any of us have the power to become a buddha. We have the energy to achieve the nirvana lied inside our own selves.Only we have to follow the buddha's way with a great effort and dedication. We have to improve our devotion (giving),intelligence and morality(seela).
The Buddha was full of humanity.According to the buddhism the human have the greatest state.Humans are there own lords. There are no any god beyond beyond them to control their destiny.Every one must bear his own cross.Actually buddhism is not a religion but it is a philosophy.According to other religions god can give you anything you want, you have only to pray for it.In buddhism the Buddha is just a teacher. We have to follow the path he taught and achieve nirvana.Even the Buddha can not give it to us.We have to achieve it by ourselves. The Buddha had given advices not only for the nirvana but also for the successful daily lives.
There is a  nice story about who the Buddha was in ''Dhrona Sutra''(a name of a story). One day the Buddha met a ''Brahman'' and he asked,
              ''Lord,who are you?are you a                                           god,evil or a man?''
the buddha answered,
                       ''No,I'm not a god,evil or just a man.I achieved the nirvana(enlightenment) by removing sins''
and the Buddha further described about that as follows.
''As a Lotus flower is born in water, grows in water and raises out of water to stand  above it  unsoiled ,so I  .
born in the world, raised in the world having overcome the world, live unsoiled by the world.  I transcends the world with spiritual powers and achieved the enlightenment. So Brahman I'm the Buddha.
'

As a human being the Buddha also have to face for getting old,  and getting sick.He also have to face for the sufferings due to sickness. The Buddha lived for 80 years and finally died at the Kushinagar,Malla Republic. So it is clear that the Buddha is not anyone else a superior human.Even us can achieve this superior human powers or the supreme humanity by following the Buddha's path.
